Black ink. Wild trees. Honest lines.
I draw in black-and-white because truth tends to show up in simple colors.
My pen wanders through trees, trails, and those quiet, wild moments we are usually too busy to notice. State trees, crooked paths, still mornings in the woods—I let the ink roam just enough for the lines to breathe, shift, and feel alive, the way nature actually moves.

Where the backyard was wide-open wilderness and every night felt like a front-row seat to the universe. I grew up sleeping under branches that bent like old storytellers, swimming in rivers we probably had no business swimming in, and watching storms roll across the plains like they owned the place. That kind of childhood leaves a mark on a man. A good one. A deep one...

Years down the road, I tried to pour that love into a startup that planted a tree for every product we made. And right around the time it all fell apart, I watched governments open national forests to logging. It felt like the ground shifted—grief, anger, heartbreak, all rolled into one.
So I picked up a pen. Simple tool, honest tool.
And those lines became a way to steady myself, to make something real out of something heavy.
Every drawing—whether it’s an original, a commission, or a print still on its way—carries a little bit of that wildness with it. They’re meant to live with you the way trees have always lived with me: as steadiness, as company, as quiet reminders that the world is still worth protecting…
and still full of wonder if we slow down long enough to see it.
